With Digital Medical Dictation, dictation immediately becomes much easier because your clinicians can dictate using any & all of the following methods:

• From any phone via our toll-free telephone numbers. Once your voice message has been recorded, the voice files are automatically sent to Oracle Transcriptions Remote Management Interface (RMI) system (powered by BayScribe) where our MTs transcribe your voice into text.  Your clinicians will then have the ability to listen to their dictation while simultaneously reading the transcribed report, and have the ability to go back and listen to their audio – for extended months of time – for all transcribed reports.
   
• From any handheld/portable digital voice recorder. Your clinicians dictate his or her notes into a handheld digital recorder, which is then placed into a USB (Universal Serial Bus) ‘cradle' connected to a PC, to download the audio files.  The voice files are then uploaded to Oracle Transcriptions RMI technology via a secured Internet connection.  Voice files are then captured by our MTs for processing.
   
• From our PC-based digital dictation system. Our PC-based digital dictation system is designed especially for Radiologists, Pathologists, etc.; and with the use of a Phillips Speech Microphone, your clinicians' ‘wave' voice files are saved directly onto our system, then synchronized & transmitted to Oracle Transcriptions medical transcriptionists for processing.

Here's how it works…

1. After a patient encounter, clinicians can dictate using the various dictating options (above), all of which Oracle Transcriptions easily interfaces with. Your voice recordings are then routed to the assigned transcriptionists over a secure, encrypted Internet connection directly from your dictation system, or directly from the Oracle Transcription system.
    
2. Within hours, the recording has been transcribed, reviewed by one of our Quality Assurance Managers, and the files are uploaded directly into the system that you designate. The documents are then available for electronic review and signature. During this review, clinicians can enter any additional notes or modify/edit the medical transcript. Once electronically-signed by the clinician, the medical transcript becomes a permanent part of the patient record.
