From most handhelds/portable Digital Voice Recorder -In this case, the process begins with your clinician dictating his or her notes into a handheld digital recorder.  The recorder is then placed into a USB (Universal Serial Bus) ‘cradle' connected to a PC that downloads the audio files.  The voice files are then uploaded to Oracle Transcription, Inc's RMI technology via a secured Internet connection.  Voice files are then captured by Oracle Transcription, Inc's certified medical transcriptionist for processing.
